Indigenous Authors Highlighted in Latest Australian Literary Reviews

LISMORE, NSW — The Koori Mail has released its latest round of literary reviews, spotlighting a diverse range of Indigenous Australian voices and stories. The publication, which is 100% Aboriginal owned, continues its mission of reinvesting profits into Indigenous community sponsorship and owner organisations while providing a platform for First Nations storytelling. Leading the July reviews is Loki Liddle’s assessment of 'Damn Good Television', which was published on 16 July 2026. This was joined by several reviews filed by a contributor identified as Amy, who provided insights into three major works: 'Belonging' by Ambelin Kwaymullina, 'No Hiding From the Woman in the Moon' by celebrated author Bruce Pascoe, and 'Close to the Subject: Selected Works' by Daniel Browning.
